As part of the consultation, the physician provides diagnosis and treatment for:

• arterial hypertension — primary and secondary, including cases that are difficult to control,
• ischemic heart disease — including coronary artery disease and conditions following a myocardial infarction,
• heart failure — both chronic and complicated,
• lipid metabolism disorders — hyperlipidemia, elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels,
• heart rhythm and conduction disorders — including palpitations and atrial fibrillation,
• obesity and its metabolic complications affecting the cardiovascular system,
• heart disease during pregnancy — as part of cardiology consultations for pregnant patients.

Clinical experience

Our Cardiology Clinic physician, Michał Szymanek, currently works at the Department of Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease at the Institute of the Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital (ICZMP) in Łódź, one of the leading cardiology centers in the region. This is the same expertise and the same standards of medical care that our patients can now access closer to home, without having to travel to Łódź.

His professional experience also includes interventional cardiology and the care of patients living with multiple chronic conditions, as well as intensive cardiac care in life-threatening situations such as myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism, acute heart failure, and sudden cardiac arrest. This experience helps him identify risks before they become a real threat.

As part of his clinical practice, Dr. Michał Szymanek is involved, among other things, in optimizing pharmacological treatment. He also performs diagnostic assessments of complications following surgery for congenital heart defects. In addition, he provides cardiac care for pregnant patients with heart disease.

Individual approach

Each consultation is tailored to the patient’s current state of health. Existing medical conditions and previous treatments are also taken into account. This makes it possible to appropriately plan diagnostic tests and further cardiology care.
